Evaluating an applicant management system can be a very involved process. Depending on the degree of digitalization of your company or HR department, more or fewer questions arise.
We are happy to help you clarify your needs with the Ostendis applicant management evaluation tool "Evaloo". We have already compiled the most frequent and most important questions for you in it, which saves a lot of time and effort.
We recommend the following procedure to help you reach your goal, the optimal selection of software for your applicant management process, as easily and efficiently as possible:
Read through functions and free-text questions
It is
best to read through the question catalog at the beginning to get an overview. The questions are divided into categories that you can show/hide.
Hide unnecessary functions and free text questions
You can hide
questions or functions that have absolutely no relevance for you right at the beginning (checkbox below the question number). This allows both you and the e-recruiting solution providers you want to include in the process to focus on the crucial questions. You can, of course, show hidden questions at any time so that you can see them again later and, if necessary, still include them in the evaluation.
Formulate your own additional functions and free-text questions
If you are missing certain functions or questions, you can add them yourself under section 11. You can also define your own questions in free text form in sections 12/13 (Costs) and 14 (Remarks). These questions can then be answered later by the e-recruiting solution providers.
Now go through the predefined questions again, as well as your own questions, and determine their utility
and
relevance
.
For the predefined questions, we have already suggested a weighting based on our experience. However, you should check these and adapt them to your circumstances:
For the utility value, determine the time and cost savings that a function has for your business. The following weighting options are available for the utility value. The number of points in parentheses is required for the evaluation (see below):
- NONE (0)
- Low (1)
- Medium (3)
- HIGH (5)
For relevance, specify how important a function is for your operation or for mapping your processes. The following weighting options are available for relevance. The score in parentheses is required for the evaluation (see below):
- NONE (0)
- Can (1)
- Shall (3)
- SHALL (5)
Enter software providers
You can include up to four additional providers besides Ostendis in the evaluation with Evaloo (Provider 2 - 5 column). You can easily make the required columns visible or invisible via "Show/hide providers".
Click on the edit icon (pencil) next to the column heading "Provider x" and adjust the name of the provider for the corresponding column.
Invite software providers
Once you have formulated all the questions, defined the weighting and defined the providers you want to include in the evaluation, you can now invite the individual providers to answer the questions directly online.
